THE ISSUES

EDUCATION

Education runs deep in my family. My parents, in-laws and wife are all teachers, and my son is following in their footsteps. I see first-hand what our schools and students need to truly succeed.

  • Redirect spending back into classrooms, where 1 teacher and 1 para are stretched across up to 24 students

  • Require a minimum of 10 years classroom experience for all administrative positions

  • Offer Pre-K as an option while working with the state and employers to cap childcare costs and expand family tax relief

  • Expand tech education and trade programs to support hands-on and visual learners beyond standardized instruction

  • Connect students to MEP trades to address the region's critical and growing workforce shortage

  • Raise school system rankings to drive growth and make Wallingford and Middlefield a destination for families and businesses

AFFORDABILITY

Connecticut should be a place where everyone can afford to live, work, and build a future.

  • Cut unnecessary spending and hold the line on taxes

  • Support small businesses and policies that grow good-paying jobs

  • Reduce energy costs that hit families and seniors hardest

  • Make Connecticut competitive so residents stop leaving for cheaper states

  • Fight for fiscal responsibility that benefits working families — not special interests

HEALTHCARE

Having a son diagnosed with congenital heart disease in utero and watching him endure six surgeries, four of them open heart, I understand firsthand the true cost and value of quality healthcare.

  • Advocate for healthcare plans that balance the burden fairly between employers and employees

  • Develop incentives and potential tax breaks for companies that provide quality, affordable healthcare coverage

  • Support solutions that reduce the financial strain on both small businesses and working families
