Why I’m Running to Represent YOU
I’m running because…I refuse to look away when I know I can make a difference in people’s lives. Each person across the 90th District, in both Wallingford and Middlefield, deserves to have their voice and concerns heard by their elected representative. With a strong determination and willingness to help others, I will dedicate my time to helping our community members with any problem they may have – big or small. I am running to be YOUR voice and biggest advocate.
I'm Running because...My mother, the late Mary G. Fritz, represented the 90th District for 34 years. From a young age my parents instilled in me a strong sense of giving back to others and serving your community. For the last decade I believe that the 90th district has not been represented with the level of advocacy and dedication that the voters deserve. I’ve witnessed surrounding communities receive resources from Hartford and invest in schools, public services, and infrastructure - all while Wallingford and Middlefield fall behind. I am running to restore representation and bring vital funding back to the 90th District.
I'm running because...I’ve witnessed firsthand how families are overwhelmed by the mental and physical challenges of long-term illness and caregiving. Whether caring for a loved one with dementia, Alzheimer's, cancer, or other long-term health conditions, families often carry an enormous burden - I believe no one should face this battle alone. As your State Representative, I vow to advocate for better resources, stronger support systems, and solutions that help families navigate the realities of chronic illness. I am running to be a voice for patients in the the healthcare system and the families who support them.
I'm running because....As your State Representative, I’ll propose and support common-sense solutions to address skyrocketing costs driving small businesses out of our community. Too many storefronts have closed in recent years as the rising costs of materials, labor, insurance and fees make it increasingly difficult to do business. Small businesses are the backbone of the 90th District and vital to our local economy – it is crucial that we meet small businesses where they are. I am running to reduce tax and administrative burdens on small businesses so they can can prosper, grow, and serve our community for generations to come.
I'm running because...We must support the seniors who have given so much to our community for decades. I had the pleasure of spending time with members of our senior community at the senior center, listening to their concerns and hopes for our district’s future. What I heard loud and clear is that seniors want someone who will fight for their basic needs: affordable healthcare and prescriptions, safe and affordable housing, and accessible services that allow them to live with dignity and independence. They need a strong advocate who will stand up for their well-being and fight to ensure their needs are met. I am running to give seniors in the 90th a seat at the table and bring back the resources they deserve from Hartford.
I'm Running because...As a lifelong resident of Wallingford, my roots run deep in this community. I’ve built a life here with my wife and our 20-year-old triplets, and I want to ensure Connecticut remains affordable so my children, and the next generation, can build their futures here. Rising costs are driving longtime residents out of our community and putting homeownership out of reach for too many young families. Connecticut needs elected officials who will confront our affordability crisis head-on. I am running to build a Connecticut where residents of all ages can live, work, and raise a family with dignity and security.
